Be as close to the trap as possible,

Use the Best hero's(Ideally SSR)

Use your Best troops

Send your extra troops to other rallies.

Note: If you are not one of the bear trap rally leaders leave space around bear trap for these guys

ONLY put Amadeus,Chenko, Yeonwoo, Amane or put no hero.

Note: This is important!

Chenko, Amadeus, and Yeonwoo are the best heroes to use for bear trap, they can have up to a 25% lethality boost for the squads

While Amane has up to 25% attack boost for the squads, which is still useful but not as effective.

The benefits from these skills is why these heroes are best for joining bear trap rallies (and most attack rallies).
So to be a good contributor in bear trap, these skills are best to level up.

Typically Chenko is the most ideal and talked about as she is the most likely hero to have the highest level exhibition skill that will be applied, making her the best choice for primary rallies. Yeonwoo/ Amadeus are usually the second best heroes as most people tend to lvl their skills up slower than chenko, if this is the case for you, send them to secondary rallies and Amane to more minor rallies.

Important Note: If you join with an incorrect hero, you are essentially debuffing the rally (lowering stats) as your heroes can overwrite the proper heroes skills. Dont take offence if you are removed from a rally, This is the most likely reason for it.

Before joining any rally always check the current heros applied in there and what their skill levels are to see if you need to adjust your lineup or better allocate your heros elsewhere

To be a good leader, When hosting a rally always check the heros and skills of the joiners to make sure they are using the correct heros and skills for the rally, if not remove them, They can rejoin with the correct setup.

Here is how you can check:

Focus mostly on archers using either of these formations (the former is best):

Formation: 10,10,80/5,5,90

Note: after selecting formation make sure your not sending any cavalry or infantry that are bellow level 7 these dont do much damage and take room out of the rally capacity. ( If there are rallies you are sure are not going to be filled you can send all your troops since there is wasted space anyway..even the low tier ones).

Depending on online members when bear trap is on; the flow will usualy go like this:

Note:(Priotiry heros = Chenko/Amadeus/Yeonwoo )

• Top strongest rally leaders initiate rallies at the start.
• Joiners fill these rallies with Priority Heros.
• If there are already 4 Priority Heros with skills higher than yours joining, just put no heroes and save your priority heros for the next one that doesnt.
• Once the main rallies have reached the 3 minutes left, the next strongest leaders will host their rallies.
• Joiners will then join these rallies with their remaining troops, left over priority heros can go here, otherwise if you have no priority hero use Amane( unless there are 4 priority heros already in the rally then you can do no hero and place amane in one that doesnt)
• It then repeats like this until the bear count down has 5 minutes remaining

Tip:There may be another wave of rally starters after the second wave. The key thing to do is be patient, have your formations saved as presets. Dont rush to fill a rally when it has only just been created, the deadline to filling a rally is 4 minutes, if timed right,it can be possible to wait until your troops return from the first rally to slip into the second / third wave, which should finish very soon giving enough time to jump into the first main rally again (Meaning your best attack troops and Priority Heros get reused a lot more efficiently for big points!).

At the last 7 minutes everyone may start a rally as no rallies can start at the 5 mins left mark for the bear, make sure all main rallies are filled first before joining these extra rallies since these give the most points.

Again.. You will get the most points by joining the strongest players rallies. This is why its best not to start one If you are not yet one of the big players in the alliance.

The rewards for bear trap are some of the best so make sure to be online and participate!

Keep an eye out in chat and for announcements to make sure you are doing the right thing, always listen to the R4s and R5 and follow their instructions above any other to avoid confusion.

If you keep getting removed from a rally, this is likely because you are not following the above instructions and most likely not using the proper hero. so just Rejoin with the appropriate hero or no hero, and keep an eye out in chat.
