understanding rallies:
When clicking on an active rally you will see a yellow flag icon at top right,
After clicking it you will see a breakdown of stats / skills being applied. the first part is all the stats that are being taken from the rally host being applied to the rally, no one elses stats are applied in a rally, only the hosts only these.
Bellow that you will see all the skills etc the host is giving to the rally, All their hero exhibition skills are applied here (right side skills)
next you will see a section for rally members, this is where a select 4 heros from the members will have their skill applied to the rally.
the way its calculated is, you can assign three heros to every battle in this game, but when joining a rally, only the first hero you put has an oppertunity for their top right skill to be used.
The 4 skills that are going to be applied are the highest level skills available. if more than 4 people have the same skill highest levels then the first ones to join the rally will be used.
Remember, all the right side skills of all the rally creator’s heros are applied, for the joiners, only the heros in their first slots have a chance to get their skills applied.
Bellow you can see the crossed out heros do nothing, they arent involved in the battle and only increase your troop capacity.
examples
Bellow is an example of a good range of heros utilised.
We have 4 chenkos with her lethality skills being applied giving the rally a big damage boost against the enemy. this is especially important during bear trap rallies because only damage matters.
Next we have a poor example.
As you can see olive has a useless skill for rallies, the bear isnt going to be interested in her baking skills even if it is honey cake.. It is better to put only troops and no heros than the wrong hero, in this example its clear if olive has a higher skill level than someone elses chenko then she will take chenkos place.
Another issue to be aware of, is that percentage chance based skills do not stack, so having multiple jabels joining a rally is a huge waste as only one is applied, therfore just stick with chenko.
Bellow you can see many jabels joining the rally and only one person correctly using chenko.
( reminder, the other heros are useless and only increase troop capacity, only the rally creator has all heros applied).
